Senior Accountant, Outsource Accounting and Finance

The Bonadio Group is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Outsource Accounting and Finance team in Pittsford, onsite. This role supports a portfolio of client engagements, delivering accounting and bookkeeping services with a sharp focus on KPI reporting, general ledger analysis, the establishment of standardized procedures, and facilitating client onboarding and training. You will work with multiple clients to ensure accurate, timely financial information and consistent processes across engagements.

Responsibilities

• Assisting and maintaining clients' annual operating plans and budgets
• Analyzing the general ledger process, identifying discrepancies, and resolving them
• Preparing complex Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other management reports
• Contributing to the establishment and maintenance of standardized accounting procedures and processes
• Producing all relevant financial statement reports on a monthly and annual basis
• Carrying out general accounting duties as needed, including accounts payable, reconciliations, and work paper preparation
• Assisting with onboarding new clients
• Providing training for new clients and staff in the use of shared software applications
• Maintaining consistent, high-level client satisfaction

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related discipline
• At least three years of related experience
• Project management experience with accounting-based projects and a demonstrated ability to deliver on time

Hours of Operation

Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The summer schedule runs Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Flexibility is valued, but additional hours may be required during peak periods.

Location: Pittsford, NY (onsite)

Salary: USD 65,000 - 80,000 per year

Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or related discipline
