Job Description
Ameriprise Financial invites applications for a Senior Financial Analyst on the Advice and Wealth Management (AWM) LFO team in Minneapolis. This onsite, full‑time role supports the Franchise Advisor Group platform with month‑end close, forecasting, and planning, delivering analytical insights to drive advisor growth, retention, and profitability. Responsibilities
- Own month‑end results reporting for the business, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clear explanations.
- Conduct independent, fact‑based analyses using multiple data sources to identify root causes, quantify impacts, and monitor benefits from prior decisions.
- Provide executive‑ready commentary that explains performance, risks, and emerging trends.
- Develop and maintain forecast and planning models aligned with key business drivers.
- Evaluate the forecast and the financial implications of business decisions, strategy changes, and advisor initiatives.
- Partner with the business on new initiatives, review cost‑benefit analyses, identify risks or gaps, and work with stakeholders to resolve before approval.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a quantitative field.
- 3–5 years of experience in a financial, analytical, or related role.
- Strong command of financial modeling and analysis using spreadsheets and analytical tools.
- Experience with accounting and financial concepts and their application to business decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to produce clear, decision‑supporting analyses and recommendations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to management.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with the business and support new initiatives.

Compensation and work terms
The estimated base salary for this role is $71,300 to $98,100 per year. The organization follows a pay‑for‑performance compensation philosophy, and initial total compensation may vary based on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Most roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonuses or long‑term incentives, depending on the position.
