Senior Financial Analyst

HeroDevs, Inc. is hiring its first dedicated Senior Financial Analyst, with the role reporting directly to the CFO. This is a high-visibility position designed to help build the finance function from the ground up, translating planning and operating inputs into clear, actionable budget, forecasting, modeling, and executive-ready reporting.

Working in an all-remote environment, you will partner closely with Accounting and Revenue Operations to support month-end close and develop scalable budgeting and reporting processes. The position also emphasizes leveraging AI and automation to improve speed and visibility as the company grows and complexity increases.

What you will do

• Lead the full budget cycle, including annual planning, forecasting, and monthly budget versus actual reporting
• Build and maintain financial models to support accountability and strategic insight
• Partner with department leaders on budgets, headcount plans, and spend projections
• Prepare board and investor materials, including monthly reporting packages, financial summaries, KPI decks, and ad hoc analyses
• Support month-end close by aligning planning assumptions with actuals, assisting with routine calculations, and surfacing insights
• Create repeatable processes and templates to scale the company and departments as growth accelerates

What you bring

• 4+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial planning in a B2B SaaS environment
• Strong financial modeling skills, including ability to develop and maintain driver-based models tied to key financial and operational metrics
• Working understanding of SaaS metrics including ARR, retention, CAC, and LTV, and how they flow through financial statements
• Comfort across strategic analysis and operational finance tasks, including GL cleanup, account mapping, and close support
• Basic understanding of AI tools and a desire to use AI heavily in daily work
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills, with experience in FP&A planning platforms considered a plus
• Experience at a PE-backed or high-growth company preferred

Role context and collaboration

• This is the first dedicated FP&A hire at HeroDevs, reporting to the CFO
• You will work closely with Accounting and Revenue Operations to establish structured, end-to-end processes for budgeting, planning, processing, and reporting
• Expect regular interaction with the Executive team to support business decision-making and deliver budget visibility
• Your work will have high visibility and will be regularly shared with executives and the Board of Directors
• The role is tailored for someone comfortable in a fast-moving, all-remote environment while shaping how the team uses AI and automation
