Job Description
Boston-based, onsite Senior Financial Analyst role within BRG Corporate Finance, Turnaround & Restructuring. You’ll support client service teams on restructuring-focused engagements, delivering financial modeling, analysis, and client-ready materials. The position also offers exposure to a fast-growing, entrepreneurial consulting practice where you can contribute to marketing, pitches, and product and practice development.
Salary range: $80,000 to $135,000 per year

What you’ll do
- Support day-to-day work for BRG Corporate Finance, Turnaround & Restructuring client service teams across active engagements
- Execute multiple tasks on consulting projects, including financial modeling and development of client presentations
- Apply business, finance, accounting, and analytical skills to build and interpret 13-week cash flow models, 3-statement models, and pro-forma scenario models
- Collaborate in a team environment with T&R and BRG experts, professionals from other firms, and client contacts to meet engagement objectives
- Assist with preparation of reports, written analyses, presentations, and other client deliverables
- Contribute to the development of a fast-growing, entrepreneurial consulting practice, including support for marketing, client pitches, and product and practice development
- Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, quality, and integrity
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree or degree equivalent in Business, Accounting/Finance, Management, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
- 3+ years of work experience, ideally within consulting or professional services
- Financial modeling and analysis experience, especially in Excel, including building and understanding 3-statement models, cash flows, and scenario analysis
- Ability to manage and analyze large volumes of financial and operational data
- Skills to interpret qualitative and quantitative analysis and translate findings into insights and recommendations
- Excellent written and oral communication, with the ability to interact effectively with junior and senior team members, senior management, and other stakeholders
- Mature presence, empathy, intellectual curiosity, and ability to learn quickly
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills
- Comfort working independently and in a team dynamic, including the ability to manage multiple priorities amid changing demands
- Plus: CFA, CPA (or equivalent), or technical/GAAP accounting expertise
- Tools: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Research tools: Familiarity with Capital IQ, Bloomberg, etc.
