Job Description

Providence offers a Senior Financial Analyst position in Anchorage, AK (on-site) with a full-time day schedule and a benefits package designed to support your health and financial well-being. Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial and operational performance, highlighting trends, variances, and actionable recommendations.
  • Build financial models, proformas, business cases, and value propositions for strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with leaders on annual budgets, long-range financial plans, capital planning, and forecasting.
  • Collaborate with Accounting during monthly close processes and financial reviews.
  • Develop and present analyses that support operational and financial decision-making.
  • Review productivity metrics and operational performance indicators.
  • Support workforce planning and resource management initiatives.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and drive efficiency across teams.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts.
  • Develop and deliver training to leadership teams and managers on budget reporting, metrics, and related financial information.
  • Meet regularly with senior leaders to provide ongoing financial leadership and guidance for resource management and performance within departments.
  • Support program managers, finance leaders, and external funding agencies by ensuring project and grant expenditures are accurately recorded, properly allocated, compliant with funding requirements, and reported on time.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prepare grant budgets, reconcile grant accounts, and assist with audits and funding applications.
  • Lead assigned tasks and projects to completion with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3 years analytical and business experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration.
  • Upon hire: Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • Upon hire: Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
  • 2 years healthcare related experience.

Pay Range

$42.55 - $66.06 per hour. The posted range reflects the minimum and maximum wage rates for this position. Final placement within the range will be determined based on relevant experience and other applicable factors. Base pay is shown; additional compensation may be available, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
