  • Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual budget vs. actual reporting cycle, starting from GL actuals receipt through written variance commentary, and deliver reporting to the Director, FP&A and business partners on an established timeline following monthly, quarterly, and annual close.
  • Maintain a live 12-month rolling OpEx forecast, updated monthly, integrating inputs across departments and teams.
  • Own headcount modeling including actuals vs. budget, tracking open requisitions, and building forward-looking staffing assumptions in coordination with department heads and business partners.
  • Produce the OpEx and headcount sections of the annual operating budget submitted internally and externally in line with established contractual and internal reporting schedules.
  • Prepare recurring operating expenditure inputs for contractual reporting obligations, including the Base Case Financial Model, Monthly Progress Report, Quarterly Operating Certificate, and Omnibus Annual Report.

Requirements

  • Ability to write clear, concise variance commentary that can be communicated quickly to both finance leadership and department heads.
  • High attention to detail and strong deadline discipline.
  • Comfort working cross-functionally, with experience obtaining accurate data from accounting, HR, and department heads under a fixed monthly deadline.
