Senior Financial Analyst (Technology Business Management)

This onsite role in Bronx, NY is devoted to driving cost transparency and aligning IT spend with business value across multiple technology functions, working with stakeholders to validate financial data and lift visibility into costs. The position offers an hourly rate of USD 40 and sits at the intersection of finance and technology within a fast-moving organization.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst with a strong background in Technology Business Management and IT financial operations. The role centers on improving cost transparency, strengthening financial accountability, and ensuring IT expenditures align with business value across several technology domains.

Responsibilities

• Lead TBM expense transparency initiatives across IT functions
• Develop and maintain financial models, cost allocation frameworks, and reporting structures
• Partner with stakeholders to validate financial data and improve cost visibility
• Analyze and communicate IT spend insights to business and finance teams
• Refine allocation methodologies and cost modeling assumptions
• Ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting and data mapping

Requirements

• Proven experience in TBM, IT financial management, or cost transparency
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, cost allocation, and financial analysis
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (data modeling, pivot tables, automation, scenario analysis)
• Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
• Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
