Senior Financial Navigating Specialist

Ensemble Health Partners is seeking a Senior Financial Navigating Specialist to support patients at Pittsburg, TX in an onsite environment. This role serves as a primary point of contact during the full financial experience, from admission through post-discharge, helping patients understand healthcare-related obligations and take action on next steps.

As a key resource, you will review benefits, estimate out-of-pocket costs, coordinate payment arrangements, and help ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements. You will also monitor performance against productivity and department KPIs while contributing to process improvements that reduce financial barriers.

What You’ll Do

• Review benefits, screen for Public Benefits Eligibility (including Medicaid and/or financial assistance), and calculate patient liability estimates.
• Facilitate payment arrangements and collect payments at point of service as needed.
• Respond to billing and coverage inquiries, maintain accurate account documentation, and support compliance with applicable requirements.
• Provide education and problem resolution to improve patient experience and financial performance.
• Monitor trends, prepare operational reports, and support process improvement initiatives aimed at reducing financial friction.
• Maintain accountability for meeting productivity and department KPIs.
• Demonstrate knowledge of all client-specific payment models and be able to triage patient financial questions for in-house resolution.
• Provide face-to-face support with patients throughout their care journey, including escalating identified financial process gaps.
• Communicate and collaborate with other personnel as needed, including case management, social workers, or physician liaisons.
• Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills across the Revenue Cycle areas and processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience (3 to 5 years listed).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in multiple areas of the revenue cycle is preferred, including (but not limited to) roles such as financial counselor, customer service, public benefits/Medicaid advocate or eligibility, state case/eligibility specialist, or other applicable roles.
• Prior Patient Access or physician-based experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated curiosity and openness to innovation, including AI, to explore better processes and reduce friction for patients and clients.

Compensation and Location

• Location: Pittsburg, TX (onsite, in person)
• Pay: $20.45 - $22.50 per hour (listed as $20 - 22 hourly)
