Sr. Financial Analyst - Revenue Assurance

The Senior Financial Analyst in Revenue Assurance will support Republic Services by preparing and interpreting financial reporting, uncovering revenue gaps, and turning complex data into actionable insights that strengthen financial performance. This role works closely with field and corporate partners across Finance, Revenue Management, and leadership to support core finance processes and ongoing improvements to revenue integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver recurring and ad hoc financial reports to support the monthly close, leadership and board reporting, and internal information requests.
• Build and maintain forecasts, budgets, and financial models; evaluate results versus plan and communicate key drivers and variances to senior leadership.
• Partner with field business partners, Finance, Revenue Management, and corporate teams to address issues, support initiatives, and align analysis to company goals.
• Support monthly review cycles through report development, presentation updates, and performance summary preparation for leadership discussion.
• Analyze complex data to investigate variances and potential revenue leakage, and support internal and external reporting requirements as needed.
• Design and enhance processes, controls, and analytics; contribute to cross-functional projects that improve reporting, forecasting, and revenue assurance capabilities.
• Analyze revenue to identify problems and opportunities for improvement.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Advanced Excel proficiency, including financial modeling, pivot tables, charts, macros, and complex formulas.
• Experience with Power Query/Power Pivot and SQL.
• Strong financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate financial results.
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability, including synthesizing large, complex datasets from multiple sources.
• Experience leading complex financial analyses and projects.
• Excellent communication skills, including translating accounting and finance concepts into clear business insights.

Minimum Requirements and Location

• Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience with revenue assurance, revenue management, finance, accounting, auditing, billing, pricing, or related experience.
• Hybrid schedule: 4 days per week in office and 1 day per week remote work.
• Office location: 5353 E. City North Drive, Phoenix, AZ 85054.
• Must currently reside in the metro Phoenix area.
