Talent Specialist (Finance & Accounting)

Robert Half is seeking a Talent Specialist (Finance & Accounting) to support contract-to-full-time hiring efforts in Rochester, NY. This onsite role focuses on running the end-to-end recruitment process, assessing candidates, and strengthening local relationships to build Robert Half’s presence in the finance and accounting talent marketplace.

Role Overview

In this position, you will manage contract and contract-to-full-time hiring activities, including search planning, candidate evaluation, and interview coordination. You will also provide coaching and feedback during the process, while maintaining ongoing candidate relationships and tracking activity through an internal applicant tracking system.

Key Responsibilities

• Own all aspects of contract and contract to full time hiring, including devising search strategies, drafting and placing advertisements, evaluating resumes, and coordinating telephone, video, and in-office interviews.
• Write MPC’s as part of the hiring workflow.
• Conduct interviews.
• Set up and evaluate assessments.
• Provide coaching and feedback to candidates throughout the process.
• Strengthen Robert Half’s local marketplace presence through consistent participation in networking organizations, face-to-face events, and both in-person and online networking.
• Work with teammates to support weekly business growth goals.
• Deliver excellent customer service to both clients and candidates.
• Manage candidate relationships to maintain satisfaction.
• Locate and track candidates working for competing companies.
• Maintain application accuracy by entering required criteria into the internal applicant tracking system.

Required Qualifications

• Finance and accounting skills.
• 0+ years of experience (non-managerial).
• College or university degrees not required.
• Working knowledge of finance, accounting, or banking functions and software such as Microsoft Office products.

Compensation

Base salary: USD 53,000 to 61,000 per year. The salary is negotiable depending on experience and location.
