Location: Warsaw, Indiana, in-office role
Compensation: USD 60,000 – 80,000 per year
This finance leadership role reports to the Director of Finance and is centered on directing AR, AP, and general ledger activity, guiding month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. The Finance Manager will drive ERP reporting and process automation, lead the finance team, and serve as the primary backup to the Director of Finance.

Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities
- Lead month-end and year-end closes to ensure timely, accurate financial statements
- Maintain internal controls, reconciliations, and GAAP compliance
- Coordinate with external auditors and banking partners during annual reviews
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and credit exposure with the Director of Finance
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses
- Translate financial data into actionable insights for department leaders
- Develop standardized monthly reporting packages and executive dashboards
- Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, and IT to embed spend analytics in forecasts
- Serve as the Finance lead for ERP optimization and process automation projects
- Work with IT to streamline workflows across Finance, Procurement, and Operations
- Implement best practices to reduce manual tasks and improve data visibility
- Supervise AR and AP staff, providing coaching, development, and accountability
- Promote cross-training to mitigate key-person risk
- Foster a culture of accuracy, integrity, and continuous improvement
- Support strategic planning and the annual budgeting process
- Offer insights on profitability, pricing, and capital projects
- Assist in preparing materials for board and executive presentations
- Lead and support special projects as directed by the Director of Finance
- Analyze cost optimization and pricing initiatives
- Participate in due diligence, integration efforts, or capital investment analysis for M&A
- Develop financial models and business cases to support new initiatives
- Contribute to high-impact projects that drive scalability and profitability
Requirements
- 5+ years in accounting or finance roles, including supervisory responsibility
- Proven ability to manage AR and AP
- Proven ability to lead month-end close processes
- Experience integrating financial systems or implementing process improvements
- Manufacturing or distribution background preferred
- Detail-oriented, precise, and data-driven
- Analytical, calm under pressure, and curious about how processes work
- Strong partnership mindset with IT, Procurement, and Operations
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
