Account Receivable / Account Payable Analyst (Sales & Marketing Finance) 2+ yrs exp req

Nicka K New York is seeking a detail-oriented accounts receivable and accounts payable analyst to partner with Global Business Development and the Digital Marketing teams. This onsite role in Melville, NY, oversees billing, collections, and vendor payments to maintain financial accuracy while supporting revenue-generating initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee invoicing for domestic and international wholesale clients
• Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payments and follow up on outstanding balances
• Reconcile AR accounts and resolve discrepancies with sales teams and customers
• Coordinate with Global Business Development on customer billing terms, credits, and deductions
• Maintain accurate records of payments, adjustments, and account status
• Prepare AR aging reports and support cash flow forecasting
• Process vendor invoices for marketing, advertising, and operational expenses
• Verify invoice accuracy and ensure proper approvals from internal teams
• Manage payment schedules and ensure timely disbursement of funds
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain organized AP records and documentation
• Partner with Sales and Digital Marketing teams to track budgets, campaigns, and spend
• Assist in financial reporting related to promotions, campaigns, and client performance
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Help improve internal processes for billing, collections, and expense tracking
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners regarding financial matters

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, accounting, or finance operations
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
