Area Sales Manager – Non-Prime Auto Finance

Strike Acceptance is hiring a full-time Area Sales Manager for non-prime auto finance to develop a geographic territory from the ground up, establish new dealer relationships, and support existing dealers remotely. This role operates out of the Long Beach, CA market with frequent dealer visits and calls.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the market ambassador for Strike Acceptance, building presence in the assigned territory through dealer relationships.
• Support dealers in understanding what does and does not work in structuring deals through the Strike Acceptance program, noting that the role does not include official credit authority.
• Work remotely within the assigned geographic territory by signing new dealers and servicing existing dealers, with frequent dealer visits and calls on a daily basis.
• Meet or exceed monthly goals tied to funding activity and dealer sign-ups while maintaining a high level of customer service with quality dealer partners.
• Monitor ongoing dealer performance indicators such as efficiency, delinquency or losses, and profitability to help sustain and grow the partnership.

Required Qualifications

• Experience as a Dealer Relationship Manager, field credit analyst, or branch manager in the non-prime auto finance environment.
• 3+ years of experience as a Dealer Relationship Manager in non-prime auto finance.
• Ability to ramp up quickly with minimal training and maintain high self-motivation.
• Residence in or near the Long Beach Market with an existing dealer base that is up and running, including signing dealers and funding deals from the outset.
• Valid license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation to support frequent travel, including visits to 8 to 10 dealers per day.
• Comfort working from a home-based office with a minimum of 80% travel within the market and occasional overnight travel.
• Strong attention to detail, high organization, and drive as essential traits for success.
