Bilingual Japanese/English Credit Middle Analyst (Finance)

Activ8 Recruitment and Solutions is hiring a Bilingual Japanese/English Credit Middle Analyst (Finance) for a hybrid role based in New York, NY (10172). In this position, you will support day-to-day credit operations, helping ensure approvals move smoothly through documentation, processing, and transaction close activities.

Role & Day-to-Day Credit Support

You will assist with transaction closing activities after Credit Application approval, coordinating with the Legal Department on contract documentation preparation and execution. The role also involves liaison with the Back Office to support post-approval processing, along with handling requests connected to the issuance of Standby Letters of Credit (L/C) and responding to transaction-related queries from ARP customers.

Credit Administration & Monitoring

Ongoing monitoring is a core part of the job. You will track and monitor various credit-related due dates, including the expiration dates of security and collateral documents such as Guarantee Letters and other collateral documentation, as well as credit facilities and lines. You will also be responsible for tracking financial statement submissions and covenant compliance to help maintain required obligations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, or Accounting
• Minimum 3 years of corporate banking experience
• Japanese proficiency to speak, read, and write in Japanese
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint
• Experience with banking products including loans, stand-by letter of credit, derivatives, and trade finance
• Multi-cultural workplace experience is preferred

Compensation & Work Location

This hybrid position is located in New York, NY (10172). The salary range is USD 67,000 to 80,000 per year.
