Corporate Treasury - Financial Analyst

In this role, you will support Huntington Bank’s corporate treasury activities by analyzing interest rate hedging strategies and assisting with balance sheet and MSR portfolio hedging, as well as related debt and securitized issuance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop actionable market and economic research to support investment and hedging decisions.
• Help ensure portfolio compliance and adherence to corporate governance standards.
• Assist in managing portfolio risk across treasury activities.
• Collaborate with credit and market risk teams on limit design and calibration.
• Support hedging activities connected to debt issuance and securitized issuance.
• Work with AI tools to improve process efficiency.
• Contribute to the development of investment and portfolio management guidelines and strategies, including risk and return objectives, risk and concentration constraints, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in fixed income markets.
• MBA or CFA charter holder, or a desire to work toward either.
• Deep knowledge and understanding of credit fundamentals.
• High level understanding of rates markets, including interest rate swaps, swaptions, collars, and floors.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to handle complex business problems.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and Python/R.
