Develop and execute end-to-end financial strategies aligned to the organization’s growth and operational objectives within the agriculture sector.
Own financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis to deliver actionable insights and reinforce fiscal discipline.
Identify financial exposures and apply risk management actions suited to the industry’s unique challenges.
Ensure adherence to financial regulations and governance standards, supporting transparency and integrity across financial reporting.
Partner across functions to evaluate organizational performance and implement strategic cost management initiatives to improve profitability.
Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team and board on financial strategy and organizational financial health.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably in agriculture, forestry, fishing, or hunting industries.
Demonstrated expertise in financial governance, risk management, and strategic financial planning.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including a record of building and implementing strategic profit models.
Executive presence and leadership capability, with experience managing high-performing finance teams.

Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Finance.
Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or CMA.
Experience with financial systems and technologies specific to agriculture or natural resources sectors.
Knowledge of sustainability accounting and environmental financial risk assessment.
Prior corporate governance experience, including working with boards of directors and external stakeholders.
