Job Description

Larksfield Place is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its Executive Leadership Team in Wichita, KS (onsite). This role partners closely with the President & CEO and the Board of Directors and Board of Trustees, providing trusted financial leadership that supports day-to-day operations and long-term sustainability.

As CFO, you will lead financial strategy and oversight across reporting, planning, capital decisions, and risk management. Your work will help shape growth initiatives and strengthen the organization for years to come, while translating complex information into clear, actionable guidance for executive and board stakeholders.

What you’ll do

  • Provide executive oversight of financial operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls
  • Oversee treasury and related activities, including investments, banking, debt, and liquidity
  • Direct audit, tax, and regulatory compliance responsibilities
  • Lead capital planning, financial modeling, and strategic analysis to support key organizational priorities
  • Own financial risk management and insurance oversight
  • Ensure clear and timely board and Finance Committee reporting
  • Provide leadership and support the development of the Finance team
  • Turn complex financial information into clear, actionable recommendations and support evaluation of opportunities and investments

What you bring

  • At least five years of progressively responsible financial leadership experience
  • Strong command of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and strategic financial planning
  • Experience as a CPA in senior living, healthcare, nonprofit, or another complex service organization is highly valued
