Chief Financial Officer

Edgewood Senior Solutions Group is seeking a mission-driven Chief Financial Officer to help guide the organization’s financial strategy and strengthen its long-term financial position. This is an onsite role in North Andover, MA, with the opportunity to serve on the Executive Leadership Team and provide regular financial updates to governance groups.

In this role, you will help ensure that the organization has accurate, timely, and useful financial information to support decision-making across leadership. As a trusted financial partner, you will translate complex financial topics into clear insights for committees and stakeholders.

What you’ll do

• Provide strategic direction and oversight for all financial functions
• Strengthen ESSG’s long-term financial position
• Ensure financial information is accurate, timely, and useful to inform organizational decisions
• Serve as a member of the Executive Leadership Team
• Regularly report financial information to the Trustee Finance Committee and Board of Trustees

What you’ll bring

• Deep expertise in accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, audit, compliance, and internal controls
• Strong command of financing, debt structures, bond covenants, and capital planning
• Experience in senior living, healthcare, Life Plan Communities, nonprofit organizations, or other regulated and capital-intensive environments is strongly preferred
• A polished, clear communicator who can act as a collaborative executive partner and trusted advisor, communicating complex financial matters to boards, committees, residents, lenders, investors, and other stakeholders
• A mission-driven approach that blends strategic vision, financial sophistication, and strong relationship-building skills, with a commitment to improving the lives of older adults
