Provide strategic leadership, coaching, and development for billing and insurance team members.
Oversee onboarding, training, performance management, and ongoing staff development.
Establish departmental goals, productivity standards, and performance expectations.
Conduct performance evaluations and support development planning.
Build a culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Direct insurance verification and prior authorization processes.
Oversee end-to-end claims submission, payment posting, denial management, and follow-up.
Monitor accounts receivable and collections performance to support revenue targets.
Ensure timely and accurate claims processing.
Develop and implement best practices to maximize reimbursement and improve revenue cycle efficiency.
Track revenue cycle metrics, reimbursement trends, and overall financial performance.
Create action plans to improve collections, reduce denials, and optimize cash flow.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Prepare and present performance reports and financial insights to leadership.
Identify opportunities to strengthen financial controls, processes, and operational performance.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, payer requirements, and applicable healthcare regulations.
Participate in audits, compliance reviews, and corrective action planning.
Develop and maintain departmental policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Five years of healthcare revenue cycle experience.
Three years of leadership experience.
Strong knowledge of medical billing, insurance reimbursement, and revenue cycle operations.
Experience with EMR and practice management systems.
Strong analytical, financial, leadership, and communication skills.
