Job Description
Optum Whole Health Solutions seeks a Financial Analyst to support growth initiatives by building and overseeing long-range financial models that underpin a five-year growth trajectory. This is a full-time, nationwide remote role with potential in-office requirements for certain locations.
Location and Work Arrangement
Dallas, TX with remote work options. Some locations may require periodic in-office participation to meet business needs.
Compensation
Salary range: USD 49,700 to 88,800 per year.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain financial models for Whole Health Solutions to support growth initiatives.
- Analyze detailed drivers of financial outcomes and clearly communicate insights to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Develop and oversee project plans related to strategic initiatives.
- Partner with business teams to craft, recommend, and implement strategies that support long-term growth.
- Maintain source-of-truth documents and delve into performance data to define, develop, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS or higher) in Finance or Accounting.
- Minimum of 1 year of financial and/or accounting experience.
- At least 1 year of Microsoft Excel experience, including pivot tables and lookup functions.
- Strong skills in financial modeling and financial statement analysis.
- Experience owning and managing financial models with demonstrated process improvement capabilities.
- Team-oriented with effective written and verbal communication across diverse business backgrounds.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to convey complex data to leadership.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and accountable for accuracy.
- Ability to work within standard business hours, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm local time, Monday through Friday.
