Financial Analyst

Samsung Electronics America, Inc. is seeking a Financial Analyst in Plano, TX (onsite) to support the finance team with timely and accurate processing of projects, collecting and analyzing financial data, identifying risk items, and maintaining internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales and profit financial analysis to ensure alignment between forecast and actual sales for North America.
• Monitor and analyze channel inventory, WOS, aged inventory and total inventory levels to optimize balance.
• Support other financial projects and tasks assigned by Controller.
• Correspond with HQ and subsidiaries on various ad hoc requests.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in corporate Finance or accounting
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, accounting, or other related areas.
• Strong financial analysis, modeling and valuation skills
• Effective collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across cultures and levels within the business and align internal and external stakeholders toward common objectives
• Highly proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word
• Excellent communication in both Korean and English (verbal and written) is required
• A desire to move quickly and decisively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative information concisely into strategic recommendations
