Job Description
LESLIES POOLMART INC is seeking a Financial Analyst to serve as a strategic business partner to senior leadership. In this hybrid role based at the company’s corporate office in Phoenix, AZ, you will help drive cost reduction, revenue growth, and operational improvement by turning financial data into clear forecasts and actionable performance insights.
Working across retail, commercial, and service divisions, the Financial Analyst supports decision-making through reporting, variance explanations, and analytical modeling designed for executive-level clarity.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze internal financial statements and cost center income statements.
- Partner with leadership to develop weekly, monthly, annual, and multi-year forecasts.
- Explain monthly variances, assess risks, and call out new profitability opportunities.
- Perform in-depth analysis of key performance metrics and financial ratios.
- Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Accounting to produce executive-level insights.
- Lead special reporting efforts, decision-support modeling, and data analytics initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics required.
- 1 to 3 years of dedicated FP&A experience.
- Strong working knowledge of financial accounting and reporting concepts.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to synthesize complex, ambiguous datasets into clear executive-ready formats.
- Strong active listening, presentation, and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and able to stay calm under tight deadlines.

Location and Work Schedule
