Job Description

MillerKnoll is hiring a Financial Analyst to support large projects and major business units from our Zeeland, MI location. This onsite role focuses on delivering highly detailed financial analyses that feed forecasting and projections, with GAAP-aligned work completed under limited supervision.

You will conduct independent analysis across complex business scenarios, partner with internal and external stakeholders to validate data, and help translate technical financial information for broader business understanding.

Role Overview

  • Support large projects or major business units through detailed financial analysis and research.
  • Participate in preparing complex analyses used for financial forecasts and projections.
  • Perform GAAP-aligned financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and complex data interpretation.
  • Work with limited supervision on broad, complex problems requiring strong accounting and finance fundamentals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform activities in accordance with GAAP and established MillerKnoll guidelines.
  • Apply advanced and/or specialized accounting and finance principles, concepts, theories, and techniques to conduct financial analysis.
  • Assist in developing financial forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
  • Collect, validate, and interpret complex data from internal and external sources, including leading communication of more detailed technical information.
  • Continuously build knowledge of the organization and strengthen business acumen through ongoing learning activities.
  • Independently handle complex projects and share unusual issues or situations with leadership.
  • Complete additional responsibilities as requested to support business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a professional financial environment.
  • Knowledge and expertise in financial planning and analysis.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Analytical skills to analyze problems and generate new ideas and solutions.
  • Proven ability to identify, define, and resolve problems, projects, and programs.
  • Ability to accomplish desired outcomes by influencing individuals at all levels.
  • Capability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
