Financial Analyst

Financial Analyst contract opportunity in Plano, TX (onsite) for a global electronics, mobile devices, and appliances leader.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the monthly financial cycle, including vendor onboarding, bank setup, and coordination of contract review with the legal team.
• Oversee invoice processing using SAP.
• Maintain accuracy and compliance across financial transactions.
• Build, update, and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support planning and decision-making.
• Lead monthly cross-functional meetings to review financial performance, surface trends, and complete ad hoc tasks.
• Provide financial analysis support to HR to help ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail and critical thinking.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Capability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.
• Knowledge of economic and accounting principles, the financial markets, and financial data reporting.
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations related to accounting.
• Experience with common computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, plus related financial software.

Skills & Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of financial and/or accounting experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Advanced MS Excel required; SAP knowledge is a plus.

Education / Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related financial discipline required (advanced degree in a financial discipline preferred).
• 5-7 years of financial and/or accounting experience required.
