Financial Analyst

CV Resources is hiring a Financial Analyst for an onsite role in Orem, UT, supporting an employee-owned construction business with financial analysis, budgeting, and project profitability insights.

Responsibilities

• Review financial and operational data to surface trends, opportunities, and improvement areas
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Prepare materials for executive-level presentations
• Evaluate project profitability, including job costs and overall financial performance
• Partner with project managers and operations teams to provide financial guidance for business decisions
• Translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders
• Assist with financial modeling, ad hoc analysis, and strategic business initiatives

Requirements

• 2–5 years of financial analysis or FP&A experience
• Strong financial modeling skills
• Strong reporting and analytical capability
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across finance and operations
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of deliverables, and succeed in a low-micromanagement environment
• Proactive, engaged approach with interest in growing alongside the organization

Nice to Have

• Construction, manufacturing, or other project-based industry experience
• Experience with job cost accounting and/or project profitability analysis
• Experience with M&A or supporting business growth initiatives
• Familiarity with Vista by Viewpoint or Procore
