Financial Analyst

Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the organization through financial analysis and reporting. This onsite role works under the Hospital CFO, with responsibility for completing and interpreting financial and statistical reporting that helps senior management monitor performance and plan for future needs.

In this position, you will focus on producing timely, accurate financial information and projections, ensuring the reporting process supports the hospital’s goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Under the Hospital CFO, complete and analyze financial and statistical reporting in support of senior management’s goals and objectives.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial information, financial reporting, and financial projections, along with related analysis activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration with emphasis on Accounting or Finance.
• 6-10 years accounting/finance experience required.
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to prepare financial statements and financial projections.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency with business software applications including EPIC, Lawson, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
• Working knowledge of Windows-based personal computers.
• Public accounting experience and strong knowledge of GAAP (highly preferred).
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) (preferred).

Preferred Background

• Hospital/healthcare accounting/finance experience (highly preferred).
• Master’s Degree in Business or Finance related field (preferred).
