Financial Analyst, Cloud Go-to-Market Finance

Turn financial analysis into clear, executive-ready decisions at Google’s Cloud Go-to-Market organization. In this onsite role in Chicago, IL, you’ll build models and track performance to support strategic planning for total cloud revenue. You will also lead projects that improve how forecasting, planning, and control processes are executed, providing senior management with recommendations and reporting support.

Google’s Cloud is a strategic priority, with offerings including Google Cloud Platform and Google Workspace. The Finance team helps ensure the Cloud Go-to-Market organization has accurate and timely financial information to drive success, acting as an important partner and independent advisor to Cloud leaders with financial, analytical, and strategic insight.

What you’ll do

• Support execution of the forecast and due diligence processes for total cloud revenue.
• Partner with Speciality Product and Region Finance teams to roll up total cloud results and forecasts for revenue.
• Present insights to the Cloud Executive leadership team based on analysis and performance tracking.
• Coordinate with Sales Operations teams to deliver required materials and reporting.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree.
• Experience executing full-cycle FP&A, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and modeling in a multinational company environment.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in financial modeling, FP&A, consulting, or a related function.
• Knowledge of the Cloud industry and how different roles and incentives work.
• Excellent quantitative, written, and presentation skills, with a track record of being innovative, organized, thorough, and eager to develop skills further.

Compensation and benefits

Salary range: USD 116,000 - 166,000 per year.
