Job Description

This onsite role in Wheeling, WV supports consultative client service, strategic planning for the Financial Advisor team, and growth through relationship-based selling.

What You’ll Do

You will provide consultative, sales, and technical support to Financial Advisors while working with current clients and actively sourcing prospective clients. You will contribute to how the Financial Advisor team establishes its strategic direction to increase revenue and help execute its client value proposition.

  • Participate in establishing the Financial Advisor team’s strategic direction to help increase revenue.
  • Consult with clients and prospective clients by analyzing goals, objectives, and risk tolerance to determine suitable investment products and services, and implement those solutions as appropriate.
  • Assist clients with trades, requests for information, research, and account-related issues.
  • Support client relationship management through ongoing counsel and advice, relationship reviews, and client service initiatives.
  • Help prepare for and deliver client presentations and engagements.
  • Support advisors in maintaining a profitable level of securities and insurance sales by executing opportunities identified through external networking and internal referrals.
  • Adhere to professional and ethical standards set by Truist, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), and other applicable regulatory bodies.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Banking (or equivalent education and related experience).
  • 4 years of professional experience, including 1 year in the securities industry.
  • FINRA Series 7 and Series 66.
  • Applicable state health and life insurance licenses, with jurisdictional registrations matching those of the advisor(s) you support.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, persuasion, and relationship management skills, along with strong organization and self-motivation.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office products.
  • Willingness to pursue additional credentials in the wealth and investment fields.
  • English fluency (required).
