Job Description
Wade Trim invites you to join as a Financial Data Analyst – Power Platform Specialist in Taylor, MI with a hybrid work arrangement. This role centers on turning complex financial and operational data into clear, decision-ready insights, building dashboards, automations, and data models to support executive planning. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and analytical models that translate complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights for executive leadership; identify trends, risks, and performance drivers.
- Use Power Automate and Power Apps to automate data collection, reduce manual tasks, and deliver lightweight, data-driven solutions.
- Perform complex financial data reconciliation and validation using Power BI and Dataverse to ensure 100% accuracy in financial reporting.
- Execute ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources via Power Query.
- Collaborate with Finance and Operations leadership to define key performance indicators, assess financial performance, and translate data into strategic insights for planning and decision-making.
- Apply advanced analytics with DAX, SQL, Python, or R to support financial modeling, segmentation, forecasting, and scenario analysis; identify opportunities for cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and operational efficiency.
- Maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in data analysis focused on financial reporting, MIS, or accounting data.
- Proven hands-on Power Platform proficiency with the ability to build complex Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Experience using Power Automate for workflow automation and Power Apps for developing business applications.
- Advanced MS Excel skills (Power Pivot, macros) and working knowledge of SQL.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data from multiple sources and deliver actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical data into business context.
