The Financial Professional role supports an accelerated path toward Associate Partner and management at New York Life. The position focuses on building a client-based practice while expanding into broader services, subject to licensing and eligibility requirements.
Role Overview
As a Financial Professional in Andover, MA (hybrid), you will establish and grow long-term relationships with individuals, families, and business owners. As you meet licensing and eligibility requirements, the role may include expanded responsibilities across investments, advisory, and financial-planning services.

Compensation
Financial Professional stage: Compensation is performance-based and commission-driven rather than a traditional salary, with earnings tied to individual production and business development. Earnings vary by performance, with uncapped earning potential. The reported range is USD 60,000 to 180,000+ per year.
Associate Partner stage: Salary range is USD 60,000 to 150,000, with additional eligible bonuses and performance-based incentives. Candidates who qualify and transition into Associate Partner move into this salaried management compensation structure.
Licensing and Prior Credentials
- Financial-services licensing is required to perform the role.
- Candidates do not need to be licensed at the time of application.
- For those entering the industry, New York Life provides licensing guidance, study support, and reimbursement for required licensing expenses.
- Candidates who already hold credentials such as Life, Accident & Health, SIE, or other applicable insurance or securities licenses and registrations are encouraged to apply.
- Previous industry experience and existing credentials are reviewed individually, and the licensing or onboarding process may differ based on background and applicable requirements.
