Financial Services Representative

Iowa State Bank is hiring a full-time Financial Services Representative (FSR) for its East Des Moines location. This role focuses on building strong customer relationships through the sale and ongoing service of consumer deposit accounts and consumer loans.

Role Overview

The Financial Services Representative (FSR) will develop and cultivate customer relations by selling and servicing consumer banking products, with an emphasis on deposit accounts and consumer loans. The position is based onsite in Des Moines, IA and is performed in person.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and cultivate customer relationships through the sale and servicing of consumer bank products.
• Support customer needs related to deposit accounts and consumer loans.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of banking experience.
• Preferably experience with teller functions, new account opening, and sales.
• Sales orientation with the ability to interact effectively with customers and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Strong customer service orientation and a quality service mindset.
• Cash handling experience.
• Excellent communication skills.

Education and Experience Notes

• Education: High school or equivalent.
• Experience: Teller and account opening experience (2 years preferred).
