Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to plan their short and long-term financial goals by building a financial plan that incorporates brokerage products such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and annuities, along with banking and money management solutions.
  • Recommend banking and investment strategies that align with each client’s goals and needs.
  • Triages client requests and routes them to appropriate internal service partners based on client requirements and asset thresholds.
  • Mitigates and manages risk as part of daily activities.
  • Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or from the financial center clientele.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to referral partners informed by knowledge of client needs and possible product solutions.

Requirements

  • Current licenses: Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65 in lieu of 66). If 66 is not held but 63 or 65 is, an offer may be extended with the condition that the missing series is passed within 60 days.
  • At least one year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in-depth knowledge of investment products and services.
  • At least one year of experience in the financial services industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded.
  • Proven ability to set and achieve goals, build and nurture strong relationships, and collaborate effectively with others.
  • Strong communication skills, confidence engaging with all clients, and the ability to manage goals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Curiosity and a willingness to learn, adapt to new information, and seek appropriate client solutions.
  • Effective time and capacity management, with thorough consideration of regulatory due diligence in daily activities and long-term client strategies.
