Job Description
Bank of America is expanding its team in Cupertino with a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I who will guide clients toward attainable financial outcomes through tailored planning and product recommendations. This onsite role emphasizes building client relationships, triaging requests, and coordinating referrals while maintaining regulatory responsibilities, including SAFE Act registration. The position blends advisory skills with a focus on risk management and personalized solution design to help clients reach their financial goals.

Salary: USD 65,000 – 75,000 per year
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to chart short and long term financial objectives, constructing plans that incorporate brokerage products such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and annuities, alongside banking and managed solutions.
- Recommend banking and investment strategies aligned with each client’s goals and needs.
- Screen client requests and route them to appropriate internal specialists based on client needs and asset levels.
- Incorporate risk mitigation and controls into daily activities.
- Proactively identify potential new clients through referrals or the financial center’s existing client base.
Requirements
- Current licenses include Series 7 and 66 (or Series 63 and 65 in lieu of 66); if the 66 is not held, a conditional offer may be extended with the requirement to pass the missing series within 60 days.
- At least one year of experience in the financial services industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded.
- Goal-oriented with a track record of setting and achieving objectives.
- Strong ability to build and nurture client relationships.
- Collaborative mindset with others to accomplish tasks.
- Effective, confident communication and comfort engaging with all clients.
- Ability to manage goals, navigate complexity, prioritize tasks, and perform in a fast-paced setting.
- Desire to learn, adapt to new information, and pursue client-centric solutions.
- Strong time management and capacity planning skills.
- Diligent in applying regulatory due diligence to daily activities and long-term client strategies.
- Solid computer proficiency with the capability to multitask in a demanding environment.
- At least three years of experience in the financial services industry and/or a sales environment with demonstrated goal attainment.
- Experience in the investments sector, including investment training and knowledge of investment products and services.
- Additional professional designations such as CFP and/or CRPC are advantageous, as are insurance licenses.
- Education: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent.
