Lead Financial Crimes Technology Developer

The Lead Financial Crimes Technology Developer role at Experis is an Application Programmer III position within the Financial Crimes technology team inside the Development Department. The role is based onsite in Jersey City, NJ and focuses on building and sustaining applications that support financial crimes monitoring and related platforms.

Role Overview

In this position, you will develop, enhance, modify, and maintain Financial Crimes technology applications. You will work through requirements with business partners, support proof of concept execution, and help automate deployment processes through CI/CD pipeline implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, modify, and maintain applications in the Financial Crimes technology domain.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document programs to support ongoing application maintenance.
• Partner closely with business stakeholders to define system requirements and deliver solutions.
• Participate across the full development lifecycle, including story refinement, requirement definition, and proof of concept execution.
• Set up and automate continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines to support seamless deployment.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience, with emphasis on financial services or related environments.
• Proficiency with MongoDB and J2EE frameworks, including MVC and Spring, along with REST API and Hibernate.
• Experience with Angular, SQL scripting, and UNIX Shell scripting, including use of Autosys for job scheduling.
• Strong data sourcing, modeling, and provisioning skills supporting large-scale AML monitoring and surveillance data assets.
• Experience with application performance tuning, database migrations, and data conversions.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC, including CICD tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Ansible, plus effective communication skills.
