Job Description
On-site Manager of FP&A in Meridian, ID for Jacksons Food Stores, overseeing financial planning, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, KPI analysis, and modeling to support operational decisions and growth.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with department leaders to analyze, model, and evaluate business decisions and opportunities.
- Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support operational and strategic initiatives.
- Provide recommendations based on financial and operational data.
- Create and maintain financial, operational, and KPI reporting dashboards.
- Analyze trends to identify opportunities and risks and communicate key findings to leadership.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports to inform decision-making.
- Partner with Accounting, Finance, and business leaders to develop annual budgets and forecasts.
- Assist with operational, capital, and cash flow planning.
- Monitor budget performance and perform variance analysis.
- Demonstrate strong financial analysis and modeling capabilities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field (required).
- MBA or equivalent degree in an analytical field (preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in FP&A, Finance, or a related analytical role.
- Retail, fuel, convenience store, transportation, or multi-location business experience (preferred).
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting tools (required).
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and communicate recommendations.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities while remaining flexible to shifting priorities.
- Demonstrated success in linking corporate strategy to the development of leadership strategies and programs.
- Able to contribute and direct innovation and troubleshooting for other related departments for cross coordination of large projects and complex business impacting service issues.
