Project Financial Analyst, Engagement Financial Advisor

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project teams to manage budgets, track financials, forecast revenue and expenses, and keep engagements financially on course
• Produce financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support engagement leadership decision-making
• Monitor project spending and assist with billing and collections activities
• Communicate financial updates, insights, and recommendations to internal stakeholders
• Support day-to-day project operations and financial management across the project lifecycle
• Identify financial risks, process issues, and opportunities for improvement
• Apply established project management and financial processes to ensure engagement quality and compliance
• Contribute to team initiatives, knowledge sharing, and process improvement efforts
• Regularly connect with your manager, career advisor, and onboarding advisor to support professional development

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 3 years of relevant experience, or a business degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline with 2 years of relevant experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Intermediate to advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Solid understanding of fundamental accounting and finance principles
• Ability to travel 0-10% on average, based on client assignments
• Willingness to work from a local office at least one day per week
• Must be located within a commutable distance to one of the select locations for this role
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders
• Comfort working with large datasets, financial reporting tools, and detailed analysis
• Interest in consulting operations, project financial management, or business operations
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Attention to detail and solid problem-solving skills
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work across teams and stakeholders
• Proactive approach with a readiness to identify opportunities for improvement
