Job Description
The Regional Finance Director role supports SCA Health’s regional portfolio of centers in Southeast Florida, overseeing all financial activities while partnering closely with the Regional Vice President of Operations to enhance both EBITDA and overall financial and operational performance.
Regional Focus and Leadership
Own financial leadership for a defined regional portfolio, collaborating with Operations to align strategy, execution, and performance outcomes. Partner with the Regional Vice President of Operations to drive sustainable improvements in financial results and day-to-day operational effectiveness across regional markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives that support consistent EBITDA growth by driving profitable top-line opportunities, developing new partnerships, managing expenses, and supporting the development process (including M&A).
- Serve as a strategic business partner to the Regional Vice President of Operations to transform the regional value proposition and achieve competitive advantage.
- Represent leadership with authority by speaking on behalf of the Regional Vice President of Operations and attending health system, partnership, or board meetings as required.
- Create, implement, and execute opportunities that improve financial growth and operational performance.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key health system partners, working collaboratively as a business partner.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of five years of financial experience required, with healthcare experience desirable.
- Ability to interpret financial information, apply judgment, create context, and recognize patterns.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage conflicting priorities.
- Executive presence to deliver financial results and provide financial advice with confidence.
- Ability to collaborate across support service departments (including revenue cycle, legal, supply chain, development) and with Operations.
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate with physician partners, health system partners, and health plan partners.
- Travel requirements: 25%.
Location and Compensation
- Location: Remote (remote)
- Compensation: USD 140,345 - 189,000 per year
