Security Officer Full-Time Financial Patrol

Allied Universal is hiring a Full-Time Unarmed Security Officer to protect and monitor a financial institution in Pittsburgh, PA (onsite).

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while following site-specific security procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, maintain visitor records, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity per site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, using established escalation and notification procedures.
• Complete regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Write clear, accurate activity and incident reports, maintain required logs, and communicate relevant observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Minimum age requirements: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required as a condition of employment, in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screening required as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state and/or local laws and regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay rate: $20.25/hour (USD $20 - $20 per hourly)
