Job Description

Based in Overland Park, Kansas with a hybrid work arrangement, this senior finance role sits within T-Mobile USA’s Growth Finance team (BTS Growth). As a Senior Financial Analyst focused on driver-based forecasting for promotional spend and promotional breakage, you will collaborate with Marketing and Finance leadership to turn analytical findings into actionable business decisions. The position carries a salary range of USD 67,200 to 121,200 per year and requires a bachelor’s degree with a quantitative concentration in finance, economics, or statistics plus at least four years of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Improve and extend current financial models using advanced techniques and best practices, with emphasis on promotional spend and breakage.
  • Support the analysis, design, and testing of data and reporting enhancements and changes.
  • Translate analytic findings into key business drivers and offer recommendations to drive strategic change.
  • Build and maintain positive client relationships within a collaborative, cross-team environment.
  • Lead the consolidation of financial outcomes, dashboards, and presentation decks.
  • Engage with Finance, Product, Marketing, and Accounting leaders to provide informed recommendations.

Requirements

  • Attention to detail with strong time management and organizational skills to meet critical deadlines.
  • Knowledge of T-Mobile's Beyond the Smartphone Business strategy.
  • Experience building forecast and financial models; familiarity with SAS, R, or other statistical software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication abilities and a track record of building effective cross-functional relationships.
  • Proficiency in writing SQL queries to extract and transform data from sources such as Oracle, Snowflake, and SQL Server.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and SUMIF.
  • Experience creating Power BI dashboards.
