Job Description

The Point Casino & Hotel is seeking a Senior Budget & Financial Analyst in Kingston, WA to support strategic financial planning and performance insights.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the annual operating and capital budget process across the organization.
  • Develop financial forecasts, projections, and scenario analyses to support planning.
  • Track budget-to-actual results and investigate variances.
  • Create executive reports, dashboards, and KPIs to communicate performance.
  • Analyze financial, operational, and marketing performance to identify trends and implications.
  • Maintain budget templates and planning tools to improve consistency and usability.
  • Support department managers throughout budgeting, planning, and reporting activities.
  • Recommend improvements to budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis processes.
  • Partner with Finance, Accounting, Marketing, and operational leaders on organizational planning initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in budgeting, financial analysis, or business analytics (3 to 5 years preferred per experience range).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and data analysis.
  • ERP systems, budgeting software, Power BI, or Tableau experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to explain financial information clearly to organizational leaders.
