Senior Finance Manager

The Senior Finance Manager will lead the Connect AI Finance team within AWS Applied AI Solutions Finance, driving growth opportunities, customer adoption insights, pricing initiatives, and cross functional collaboration with the Amazon Connect business. This onsite role is based in Seattle, WA, with a salary range of USD 153,000 to 207,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Lead and refine the financial analysis processes for reporting AWS Infrastructure capital expenditures and operating expenses.
• Collaborate across the finance community to coordinate a complex, interconnected set of deliverables.
• Support ad hoc requests and assist finance executives with diverse inquiries.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, including automation and coordination with upstream and downstream teams.
• Partner with AWS finance teams to standardize, streamline, and prioritize improvements, remove roadblocks, and enhance reporting reliability and efficiency.
• Prepare and present narratives and analyses of AWS Infrastructure capex and opex to senior leadership.
• Oversee the financial controllership function for AWS Infrastructure.
• Elevate the team by attracting, developing, and retaining top finance talent to sustain a world class finance organization.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field.
• 10+ years in roles requiring analysis and reporting of financial results.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
