Job Description
Senior Financial Analyst, Global Supply Chain - Sourcing partners with sourcing, planning, and supply chain leaders to deliver financial insights, forecasting, savings governance and decision support across direct and indirect spend.
Responsibilities
- Review monthly and quarterly financial results and key performance indicators.
- Produce management reports comparing actual results to forecast, budget, and prior year.
- Explain variances and highlight risks and opportunities to stakeholders.
- Identify trends and outliers and deliver recommendations for cost optimization and margin enhancement.
- Support regional and Seattle-based business and finance teams with reporting and analytics to inform decisions.
- Assist in developing the annual financial plan, quarterly forecasts and strategic plans.
- Set timelines, partner with budget owners, coordinate consolidation, and trigger timely reviews of projections to ensure plans are delivered on time and aligned with enterprise priorities.
- Conduct financial due diligence for new initiatives.
- Collaborate across functions with stakeholders and subject matter experts to build robust financial models and deliver insights to drive growth.
- Present and explain financial information clearly to management at all levels.
- Educate customers on financial acumen and ensure adherence to policy.
- Develop and facilitate planning and reporting processes; continuously review their effectiveness and recommend improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or four or more years of US military experience
- Five or more years in financial analysis including budgeting, forecasting, planning and financial reporting
- Two or more years using electronic financial modeling skills
- Three or more years presenting financial analysis and recommendations to a business unit
