Job Description

Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Manager role in Los Angeles, CA onsite, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end company budgeting cycles, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial plans aligned to business objectives.
  • Develop, refine, and maintain financial models to assess performance, growth opportunities, and operational decisions across functions.
  • Evaluate actual results versus budget and forecast; produce analysis with clear conclusions and actionable recommendations for leadership.
  • Partner with department leaders to connect spending plans to strategic priorities and support resource allocation decisions.
  • Track key financial and operating metrics and deliver ongoing reporting that surfaces trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Assist with product launches, pricing decisions, and expansion initiatives through scenario analysis and business case modeling.
  • Create executive and board-ready materials that summarize performance and translate complex information into clear takeaways.
  • Drive improvements to FP&A processes, reporting tools, and dashboard capabilities to strengthen efficiency, accuracy, and visibility.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Strong track record in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets and presentation tools such as PowerPoint.
  • Preferred experience with financial planning platforms and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Ability to explain financial concepts clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and capability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Advantage: familiarity with cost modeling, pricing analysis, or margin performance evaluation.
