Job Description
Amgen is seeking a Sr Associate Finance to support financial management and business operations through reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and data-driven analysis. This role focuses on operational coordination, corporate consolidation and reporting support, and preparation of materials for enterprise processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support operational processes by ensuring required information is complete, accurate, and maintained according to established standards
- Coordinate activities across teams to support business operations and project execution
- Gather, analyze, validate, and maintain operational and business data
- Develop, maintain, and enhance reports, dashboards, metrics, and leadership updates
- Support corporate consolidation and reporting activities, including preparation, validation, and reconciliation of inputs for enterprise-level reporting cycles
- Coordinate One Techbook preparation for ETDG, ensuring content, metrics, and supporting materials are complete, accurate, and ready for review
- Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to operational efficiency initiatives
- Maintain compliance with established business processes, policies, and governance requirements
- Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Assist with ad hoc analysis, reporting requests, and special projects as needed
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- One of the following experience pathways:
- Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of relevant experience
- Associate’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience
- High school diploma / GED and 8 years of relevant experience
- Experience supporting business operations, reporting, analytics, project coordination, or process management activities
- Experience working with reporting, visualization, or business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience working with enterprise business systems and data sources is a plus

Compensation and Location
Location: Thousand Oaks, CA, US (remote)
Salary range: USD 80,236 to 108,555 per year
