Job Description

Hybrid work in Chelmsford, MA with support for better work-life balance. This Sr. Financial Analyst role in the Finance-Cost team helps drive cost and efficiency decisions by turning operations performance data into clear forecasting, KPI reporting, and actionable recommendations.

You will report to the Global Operations Controller and partner closely with Finance/Accounting and Operations to analyze results that impact spending and productivity.

What you’ll do

In this role, you will bring structure and visibility to operational spend and financial performance.

  • Identify and categorize Operations spend activities to support consistent tracking and analysis.
  • Deliver recommendations related to spend and help create capitalization of spend.
  • Build financial forecasts including annual and strategic plans.
  • Create key performance indicator (KPI) schedules that headline and trend results, including commentary on what changed.
  • Improve financial performance indicators by monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions to management.
  • Reconcile accounting and financial transactions by comparing and correcting data.
  • Prepare and present financial results and relevant trend analysis.
  • Increase productivity by developing automated reporting.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or finance (required).
  • 4+ years of financial analysis experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • MBA, CMA, or CPA (plus).
  • Cost Accounting knowledge and experience (plus).
  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
  • Ability to use Power BI and Tableau, with Hyperion Planning (or equivalent) preferred/required as listed.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, with Excel Power User preferred.

Compensation and benefits

Base salary range: $105,593.46 USD to $142,861.74 USD per year.
