Staff Financial Analyst

Intuit's Ecosystem Services Finance team is seeking a Staff Financial Analyst to partner with the Money business segment on strategic planning, financial modeling, and reporting for QuickBooks Money offerings. This onsite role in Mountain View, CA sits at the intersection of finance, product, and growth, translating business initiatives into rigorous financial plans and actionable insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape 1- and 3-year strategic trajectories for the QuickBooks Money portfolio, including Bill Pay, Banking, and SMB Card offerings, while highlighting risks and opportunities to guide investment decisions.

Responsibilities

• Strategic planning: Act as the finance lead for the QuickBooks Money portfolio, including Bill Pay, Banking, and SMB Card offerings, shaping multi-year plans and surfacing risks and opportunities to inform growth and investment choices with data-driven insights and modeling.
• Operational excellence: Partner with Product, Marketing, Sales, Risk, Commercial and Analytics teams to define and monitor KPIs, turning data into actionable insights that drive progress toward strategic and financial goals.
• Modeling: Collaborate with business partners to build financial models that evaluate complex scenarios affecting go-to-market, pricing, promotions, new sales channels, and product development priorities.
• Financial reporting: Prepare month-end close packages, variance explanations, and related reporting to illuminate performance; coordinate with Corporate Accounting and cross-functional partners to ensure appropriate accounting treatment of activities.
• Process improvement: Drive efficiencies by standardizing, streamlining, and automating reporting and processes to support scalable growth.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Management or equivalent work experience; Masters in Finance a plus.
• 6+ years of FP&A experience or equivalent tenure in corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or analytics.
• 4+ years of experience with financial forecasting or analytic modeling.
• Ability to thrive in an extremely fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Proven track record of translating business results into insightful, leadership-ready stories, ideally in high-growth software settings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to partner across all levels of the organization, influence stakeholders using data, and collaborate in an inclusive culture.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling capabilities.
• Self-starter who learns quickly and can initiate, manage, and execute projects with minimal supervision.
• Grace under pressure with a good sense of humor and humility.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; Hyperion Essbase experience preferred.
• Experience with fintech business is a plus.
