Job Description
Senior finance leader based onsite in New York, NY, responsible for financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting oversight, and strategic decision support for the Business Banking PXT Finance and Business Management team at JPMorgan Chase.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver budgeting, reporting, forecasting and financial analysis to inform business decisions.
- Prepare analytics and strategy materials covering location strategy, span of control, and related reporting.
- Create financial business cases to support various business initiatives.
- Execute new business strategies or platforms while aligning Finance, Technology, Operations, Legal and Compliance teams.
- Define and monitor performance metrics, produce presentations, and provide financial analysis to senior management across topics.
- Oversee month-end close, remainder-year forecast, and multi-year budgeting processes.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify drivers and present explanations to FP&A managers and line of business CFOs.
- Assist in designing new reports and dashboards to efficiently deliver results to senior leadership.
- Enhance controls and streamline processes, incorporating automation where feasible.
- Analyze financial performance, including expenses, identify productivity opportunities and drive implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a technically oriented field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Planning & Analysis or Business Management.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Curious, energetic and diligent, with the ability to challenge peers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly.
- Highly motivated and able to perform under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Integrity in handling confidential information.
- Collaborative team player and trusted partner for the Business, Finance, and FP&A teams.
- Self-starter with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to analyze large data sets and present concise conclusions.
