Vice President, Non-Financial Risk Controls

BNY is seeking a Vice President, Non-Financial Risk Controls for the Enterprise Custody Services Non-Financial Risk Controls team in Pittsburgh, PA (onsite).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement non-financial control frameworks using expertise in risk assessment and risk management to strengthen the control environment.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and drive initiatives that enhance control processes and overall effectiveness.
• Perform analyses of control systems, support audits, and monitor control activities.
• Report findings and recommendations to senior management to support compliance with regulatory standards.
• Support multiple complex projects, own project timelines, and provide input to the development of controls, protocols, and continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience (required).
• 5+ years of total work experience (preferred).
• Preferred experience in risk assessment, control framework development, control monitoring, and audit or compliance-related activities.
• Preferred financial services experience.
• Ability to analyze complex control processes and provide actionable recommendations.
• Strong collaboration, project management, and communication skills; ability to contribute to achievement of team and area objectives.
