VP of Finance/CFO-Transportation

Responsibilities

• Direct all financial operations to support business objectives
• Oversee financial reporting processes and ensure accuracy of statements
• Drive forecasting models and long-range financial planning
• Manage annual and rolling budgets with variance analysis
• Lead equipment financing initiatives and capital structure considerations
• Supervise core accounting functions and close activities
• Coordinate periodic consolidations across entities
• Oversee general ledger accounting and close integrity
• Monitor cash flow and liquidity management
• Maintain banking relationships and funding options
• Prepare lender reporting and covenant compliance
• Strengthen internal controls and risk management practices
• Lead and develop the accounting team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
• 7 to 10 years of progressive finance or accounting leadership experience (preferred)
• Strong preference for experience in trucking, transportation, logistics, or fleet management
• Proven expertise in financial reporting, consolidations, forecasting, budgeting, and general ledger accounting
• Experience with banking activities, debt financing, debt reporting, equipment loans, and cash flow management
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial systems
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical abilities
