Job Description
Lead and oversee dealership finance and F&I execution to support customer-ready deal funding in the Buffalo, NY market.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full finance workflow from deal turnover through vehicle funding.
- Structure deals and arrange financing using the dealership lender network.
- Review credit applications and select financing options aligned to customer needs and lender guidelines.
- Present and discuss available F&I products, including vehicle service contracts, GAP, protection products, and related offerings.
- Explain rates, terms, monthly payments, product coverage, and contract details clearly to customers.
- Optimize F&I profitability while maintaining a strong customer experience.
- Ensure paperwork is complete, accurate, and compliant before and throughout the funding process.
- Maintain ongoing compliance with federal and state regulations and dealership policies.
- Partner with sales management and the sales team to keep deals moving efficiently.
- Build and maintain lender relationships; stay current on lender programs, guidelines, and approval requirements.
- Manage contracts in transit and help resolve funding issues when they arise.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation within dealership systems.
Requirements
- Previous automotive F&I experience is required.
- Proven success as an Automotive Finance Manager.
- Strong understanding of automotive lending and deal structuring.
- Established experience working with banks and automotive lenders.
- Proven ability to present and sell F&I products.
- Experience working with a range of credit situations.
- Strong understanding of automotive finance compliance.
- Experience using dealership CRM and DMS platforms.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work quickly while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
